Amazon released new Kindle Electronic Reader for PC

You must remember that Amazon.com has released many kinds of application for PC and mobile device such as iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and so on. November 11th, Tuesday, Amazon released the new software for users of PC. This software is able to help users purchase or read e-books which are from Amazon.com on a PC or download them into some kinds of mobile device.

And the software includes of Amazon’s Kindle electronic reader.   It is known that Amazon’s online bookstore offers more than 360,000 e-books which are best-selling and popular. Now you are allowed to read these e-books on a PC, Apple iPhone, iPod Touch as well as the Kindle and Kindle DX. Especially, Amazon has promised to release a new version of the Kindle software for Apple Macs later.

In addition, Kindle for PC displays e-books’ graphic in color and takes advantage of the touch screen capabilities in Window 7, and make it possible to zoom in or zoom out of shown text with the swipe of the finger.

However, a fly in the ointment is that Amazon’s use of proprietary copyright protection technology, instead of the open ePub standard used in the Nook and Sony’s Reader. The ePub standard provides access to the half-million non-copyrighted books available through libraries in the Google.com.

But a few days ago, Google was in the trouble of law, because of its tort behavior, Google has scanned authors’ books into its electronic database in violation of international copyright standards.

It is very interesting to imagine that you can read twilight on iPhone, now you can continue this happiness on PC.
