These are the most pointless devices. Ipod and Iphones, etc can handle this. Why have some giant and fairly expensive product with only one use?

why would I want any of that proprietary crap?
Just give me a monochrome screen with an SD card reader. I don’t want to buy books off of amazon.

all of this crap is pointless. Everyone has a palm pre or iphone which has internet, so you can almost anything online. everyone has a wireless lap top. you can read everything online. everyone has a ipod touch, you can read everything online.
wtf would i need a kindle? if i want to read a book i will cary the book.
